Concrete cutting
in Paddington

Paddington is terraces, and terraces are the fussiest work there is. Party walls, heritage controls, no off-street parking and a neighbour who shares the brickwork you are cutting into. It can all be done — it just has to be done properly.

03

Heritage-sensitive cutting

Careful, dust-controlled work where the fabric of the building matters and the council is watching.

Questions

Working in Paddington

Can you chase a party wall in a terrace?

Within limits, yes. There is a point past which cutting into a masonry wall weakens it, especially a long horizontal run. We cut to the conduit and no deeper, and if the plan goes past what the wall can take we will say so first.

There is nowhere to park. Is that a problem?

It is the normal condition here. We plan the load-in before we arrive and carry gear in where we have to.
